New chemistries we are working on:
Borated PIBSI for slick water applications
- Borated PIBSI has been shown to interact with metal surfaces providing friction reduction and corrosion resistance.
Aromatic Anhydrides for antifoulant applications
- Aromatic anhydrides as capping agents on PIBSIs have been shown to be very effective soot dispersants. Additionally, they possess high thermal stability which should lend them to be effective detergents to clean-up and prevent deposits.
Fatty acid surfactants for emulsifiers and filming inhibitors
- Fatty acid surfactants have been shown to be effective friction reducers.
Imidazolines for refinery applications
- Corrosion inhibition to protect metals from deterioration.
